Michael Jones

Michael has over 30 years experience in the manufacturing, construction and mining industries. Michael has worked with a number of leading mining and construction companies across Australia, and has undertaken a range of projects including underground mining, gold treatment, coal preparation and materials handling and commercial building and infrastructure construction.

Michael was a founding shareholder of Walter Mining Pty Limited and is a director of WDS. Michael is responsible for the management of risk in all facets of the Group's operations and acquisitions, including the development of Group policies and procedures, the establishment and maintenance of risk registers for the Group's operations and overseeing all legal and insurance matters and acquisitions.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours from the New South Wales Institute of Technology.
